Who we are

King AI & Automation Ltd is registered in Scotland (SC787231) and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Reg: ZB625690). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data in the following ways:

  • Email address: when you subscribe to our newsletter or request our free guide. Lawful basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking Unsubscribe in any email we send.
  • Name and contact details: when you book a call or enquire about our services. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), specifically to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential engagement.
  • Business information you share: during discovery calls or project scoping. Held only for the purpose of delivering your project.

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies only, small files stored in your browser that keep the site functioning. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.

We use localStorage (not cookies) to remember whether you have dismissed the cookie notice and to prevent the newsletter popup from appearing more than once per device. This data never leaves your browser.

Third-party services

  • Brevo (Sendinblue): we use Brevo to store email subscribers and send newsletters. Brevo processes data in the EU. You can view their privacy policy at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
  • Google Fonts: loaded from Google's servers. Google may log your IP address as part of font delivery. See Google's privacy policy for details.
  • Cal.com: used for booking discovery calls. When you book a call, Cal.com processes your name, email, and scheduling data. See Cal.com's privacy policy for details.

How long we keep your data

  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Enquiry and client data: up to 6 years after the end of any engagement, for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for consent-based processing)
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

Changes to this policy
